Young and full of running.
Tell me, where has that taken me?
Just a great figure eight or a tiny infinity?

Jamaica. One thing on my mind, Money.
Mission trip is in 57 days.
I have a lot of money to raise by then.
Plus donations.
Ah prayer for this is much needed.

So many thoughts have been consuming my head this week, but I can definitely tell you this semester has been going so much better this time around. better friends, better situations, no pressure. I just love it so much more and I am making friendships with so many new people.

Have I been listening for what God is calling me to in 2010?
Well, I'm trying. Prayer has increased this year. So much can come from prayer.

Peace. Signing out. Neff.

New Expectations

Hi. Hey. Howdy. Hello.
2009 is gone. 2010 is here. Where is my life going? Since when am I starting my second semester of college? I thought I just started high school.
Life really goes to show that it really can not be what you expected. Just a few months ago, I was heading to Mizzou, about to join a sorority, rooming with whom I thought would be one of my "new best friends" and completely sure about my major.
Now here I am, decided greek was not for me, moved floors, have a huge group of friends (practically my entire floor), and been rocky about meteorology.
God can shake you up and break you down.

My mom used an interesting analogy today I perticually enjoyed.
She Said:
"I envision you as a vase in God's hands. This semester, He smashed you to pieces with all the trials. As you are learning things through all of this, He is picking up the pieces of you and building a brand new vase with a more beautiful design then before."

It has definitely been a difficult semester and I would NOT go back and redo it if someone paid me to, BUT I am glad it happened. It taught me things I never knew.

So as this year begins, I challenge you, yes you, the reader, to look at what God is envisioning for you. Is it what you expected?

Peace. Signing Out. Neff.
